Energize Gardu Induk (GI) 150kV Maloy, Kalimantan Timur

On Tuesday 27 June 2023 in Maloy district, East Kalimantan, the 150kV Maloy Main Substation (GI) belonging to PLN UIP East Kalimantan (Kalbagtim) was successfully energized with the contractor PT. Sejahtera Mulia Kencana (SMK) and its engineering design consultant PT. Arfy Reka Cerdas.

This GI whose Detail Engineering Design (DED) Electro Mechanical (EM) work was entrusted by PT. SMK to the PT team. Arfy Reka Cerdas has been completed on time in the first semester of 2022 and has been eagerly awaited by PLN UIP Kalbagtim for the purposes of developing and strengthening power flow through the 150kV high voltage network in East Kalimantan province as well as to supply electricity to PT’s high voltage customers. Kobexindo.

The Arfy Reka Cerdas team completed their DED relatively quickly, only around 3 months and 2 x offline consignment meetings.

PT. SMK has entrusted GI and SUTT work throughout Indonesia for 8x projects to PT. Arfy Reka Cerdas. This is proof of the client’s success and satisfaction with the results of our work.
